With online banking & shopping being so convenient, we are always tempted to buy online from the comfort of our house. Adaware Pro and Adaware Plus are anti spyware products. Adaware Pro comes with additional features essential for advanced users. The adaware software is available in three different versions the pro, plus & free edition. Since I was interested in all the features of this software, I bought the pro edition.

Does the Adaware help in minimizing spyware & virus threats?

Yes. I was amazed at the spyware detection levels of this tool. It identified many of files which I had downloaded from lot of internet sites as spywares & trojans. (Well, you are tempted to download free files from the net, aren’t you). I personally do not like any software running in the background since I feel that such tools can sometimes consume a lot of system resources.
