The guides provided with Google Shadow appear to be very basic and cover very newbie concepts on Google adwords, direct linking with PPC, affiliate offers, affiliate networks, adwords basics, choosing affiliate offers, terminology used in affiliate marketing and other topics like keyword research, creating ads, types of keywords including negative, broad, exact keywords and keyword tracking. Other guides provided are basically the success plans & the case studies. The case studies provided with Google shadow are something you will like to see. the author has basically shared all the information & screen shots for the campaigns that he had run on adwords & MSN live. The case studies reveal all information like the keywords used, ad variations used, ppc cost & revenue earned. This case stuides may be something which every newbie will like to see.
Though the case studies are well worth the time, it may also be interesting to see that general advice is to bid as high as $1 per click. For one of the case studies, the Avg CPC seems to be upwards of $3. This is an exceptionally high bid for a newbie.
Ok coming back to the Google shadow software, the software does seem like a good one and does make the ad creation job much more easier. Without the software, you may still be able to create PPC ad campaigns, but everyone knows the pain when it comes to large number of campaigns. Secondlt the entire effort needs to be replicated if you plan to use the same campaign on Yahoo & MSN.
